Savant Smart Integration

The proposed room management system uses an Apple hand held device (iPad2 or iPod Touch) to control the lighting and air conditioning system. The user interface is through a native Application (App) loaded onto the hand held device.

The hand held devices communicate to a Host Server (Mac Mini loaded with App configurations) that has all the control codes and the user profiles that allow control the environment settings in the room.

• Air Conditioning Control – On/off, Room Temperature and Change set point
• Lighting Control – change scene for room lighting system
• Integration with Video systems in the room to provide controls for Television, IPTV setup box and DVD controls.
• Curtains & Blinds open, close and stop controls (for VIP rooms and Suites only)

By providing the integration with these systems, the user has the flexibility to control the temperature set point in the room, the lighting scene settings, change the channels on television, and control TV volume, change source feed to the TV such as HDMI, Cable input, PC among others.
