GE was manufacturing machines for some of the very first commercial and industrial electrical applications ever. SInce 2017 owned by Wolong, GE continue to deliver a full range of motors, from 1 to 1,750 horsepower, for highly demanding industrial applications around the world.
In 1930, Mr. Gottlob Bauknecht started the production of electric motors in Stuttgart Germany and in 1938 the plant in Welzheim was acquired. Following the growth of the company a new production plant in Spielberg was opened in 1974. In the both locations, ATB manufacture customized electrical motors in frame sizes 56 up to 280 for pumps, ventilators, home appliance and many other applications. In 2011, the ATB Group joined Wolong.
