The complex process of treating seawater by removing or reducing the salt content performed on a Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) relies on the performance of motor starting solutions such as VFD to handle the high-pressure Reverse Osmosis pumps under varying process conditions.

We designed, assembled and deployed Active Front End VFD systems for Reverse Osmosis process to FPSOs which are proven reliable in achieving the pressure and flow of the treatment cycle.

The use of VFD improves motor efficiency. Reduces the motor damage during starting and stopping. Remove the need for throttling valves. Thus extends significantly the life of the motor. The incorporated VFD system will improve the efficiency of the water treatment system. It also provides the operator direct control without comprising the quality.
